Sri Venkatesa Perumal College of Engineering & Technology was established in the year 2001 and promoted by Tamilian Education Academy. It is a private college, situated in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. The college has been affiliated with JNTU Anantapuram. It has been recognised by UGC and has also been approved by AICTE, New Delhi. SVPCET Chittoor has been accredited by NAAC along with NBA. The JNTU Anantapuram approved the employment of 70% of the faculty members. Hence, the college only hires prominent academicians, research scientists, and experienced faculty after carefully selecting them through a search from a pool of reputable companies.

The SVPCET Chittoor courses are offered to interested candidates at diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. There are a total of 30 courses offered to students in the stream of engineering and management. A total of 15 courses are offered in online mode and the rest 15 courses are offered in offline, regular mode. The SVPCET Chittoor admission to these courses is offered on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the entrance exam along with the last qualifying exam. For admission to the B.Tech course, candidates have to apply for the AP EAPCET entrance exam and the candidates have to apply for the AP PGECET/GATE entrance exam to become eligible for M.Tech courses.

A gymnasium, boys' and girls' hostels, laboratories, a sports complex, transportation services, banking services, a full-fledged library, a canteen, and a number of other amenities are available to students at the Sri Venkatesa Perumal College of Engineering & Technology campus.
